What a lovely start to the week. We have just been presented with an envelope full of money from some of our wonderful parents. Thank you so much to those of you who have contributed – we have £200 to spend in developing our mud kitchen which is coming along so nicely. Willie is making a fabulous job of it and we are very excited to be using it soon! Mrs Williams and Mrs MacRitchie are going to get their heads together and decide what to buy with the money. Every penny will go towards resources for the children. Absolutely brilliant! Many, many thanks. Xx

School Photos

School photos will be taken on Tuesday 22nd September, weather permitting. These will be taken outside due to current restrictions. Cheese!

Emergency Contact Information forms

Thank you to those of you who have returned the family update forms which include emergency contact information. We still have quite a lot of forms outstanding. Even if the information which was issued hasn’t changed it would be really helpful if these could be returned as soon as possible so we can update our records. Thank you!

Update from Lucy!

Hello I’d just like to say thank you 🙏 to everyone who has supported me over the last couple of weeks. I’m over halfway through my challenge. I’m cycling, walking or running 5 kilometres a day to raise funds for MFR cash for kids. The last few days in the rain and wind were quite tough, but the support I’ve had has kept me going.

There’s another 14 days to go. It’s a great cause and any donations will make a great difference.

Violin looking for a home!

I have a friend who is having a clear out. She has a quarter sized violin she no longer requires as her children have grown up. The violin is looking for a new home as it would be much happier being used rather than sitting in a cupboard gathering dust. If you are interested please get in touch with me at ….

House Captains

A massive congratulations to our fabulous new house captains and deputies for the year. Well done on your super video speeches and for having the confidence to put yourself forward to help lead our school. We are all so very proud of you and wish you lots of luck in your new roles!

Near miss on Croyard Road

I have been informed this morning of a near miss on Croyard Road where a child nearly got knocked over. This happened as a result of a van driver mounting the pavement just down from the school. This was very dangerous driving and I will be informing the police of this. However I would also urge people not to park on Croyard Road as the congestion obviously played a big part in this situation. Please use Braeview Park or alternative parking to ensure the safety of our young people. Thank you.
