We have just been informed that there is currently a scam where parents are contacted and asked for bank details so they can access free school meals while children are currently at home. Please NEVER share your bank details with anyone over the phone. Some people obviously have no moral values.
There are still pupils who have not joined their google classroom. Please could we urge you to do so in order that we can register our pupils on a daily basis. If you have any issues please email your child’s class teacher in the first instance or myself – email@example.com and we will try to help. I am hoping to have a daily register in place in each classroom by the end of the week. Thank you.
Poor Archie after the workout his mum set him today…..
Just as well he is allowed some down time – look at the fantastic jigsaw he made!
Please could all pupils from P1-P7 ensure they login to their relevant google classroom today. This is how we will keep track of our pupils and where work will be posted after the Easter Holidays.
Logins all share the same pattern, ie firstname.lastname@example.org, all pupils in Beauly Primary end with @charlestonacademy.org.uk as this is our associated secondary school.
If you have any problems logging on or any other queries please feel free to contact your child’s class teacher through google mail – email addresses follow exactly the same pattern as above. Most class teachers have posted these email addresses on their class blog pages too.
It is mostly the younger pupils who we are waiting for to login in to the classrooms – we appreciate your help with this. If you have older pupil contacts they will also be able to help you (and the younger pupils) with this.
Thank you. Hope you are all safe and well.
UK and Scottish Government’s decision begins a three-week lockdown in order to delay the spread of the Coronavirus,
In light of the UK and Scottish Government’s decision to begin a three-week lockdown in order to delay the spread of the Coronavirus, the Highland Council has taken the decision to cancel the provision of school meals today. The current format of provision would involve staff and children gathering at school premises and this would go against national advice and directives.
Great to see pictures of some of the Easter Cards which will be heading to cheer up the residents at Urray House. Well done to those children who have done that part of their homework this week. Keep them coming guys – great job.
Please try to get your child to say hello each morning on their classroom as this will help us keep track of everyone. We hope to have a method organised to register online soon but this is still a work in progress.
It is our responsibility to keep track of our pupils so I will be in touch if pupils are not making contact through the google classroom. Alternatively you could get them to send an email to either myself or the Beauly mailbox each morning. Tracey and I are hoping to be able to access the Beauly Mailbox from home as of tomorrow.
Thanks as always for your support.

We have just been notified that any P1-3 pupil or pupils who are entitled to a free school meal should collect it from Charleston Academy between 11am and 2.00pm every day this week. We have been instructed to close all areas of our school until further notice.
Work packs for after the Easter Holidays can be picked up from school on Monday. I am hoping for nice weather so these can be picked up from the playground to avoid close contact with others. P5/6 and P6/7 packs can be picked up between 10.30am and 11.20am. P1/2, P2/3 and P3/4/5 packs can be picked up between 11.30am and 12.30pm. If you are unable to get your child’s pack picked up please arrange someone else to do it on your behalf. We had hoped to issue these packs after the holidays but that is no longer an option. Take care.
