Safer Routes to School

We are still getting reports from parents about near misses with pupils in Braeview Car Park.

Please could all parents remind their children not to walk across the car park in Braeview Park.

Please lets stay safe and follow the safer route signs along the pavements to and from school.

Experimental Archaeology

Class teachers have postcards with information about Experimental Archaeology: Learning about Technologies in the Past if anyone is interested. There are several free workshops being run over the next few months which give a chance to explore in depth issues involved in craft and technology through the ages. If your child is interested please remind them to ask their teacher for information.

Maya P4/5

A huge well done to Maya in P4/5 who was presented with this trophy at her dance class on Saturday for super listening and for following instructions so well. Keep up the good work Maya!

P6/7 shinty

Yay! Well done to the P6/7 team today who won the shinty tournament! Super sportsmanship and behaviour displayed throughout. Great skills too. A huge thank you to Ewen and all the supporters. That’s both teams heading to Fort William on the 3rd March. Go team Beauly!

Emergency over!

The police have been back in touch to say that the gas leak has been fixed and everything is okay. Arrangements at the end of the day will be the same as usual now – no need to collect children if they usually walk home. Pupils will be dismissed at the usual time. Phew!

Gas Leak

The police have been in contact with school to say there is a gas leak in the vicinity of the garage/co-op area of Beauly. At present we have been informed there is no danger to school or pupils. All children from that end of the village will be kept in school until they have been collected at the end of the day by a parent or carer. They will not be dismissed without an adult. We will keep you updated of any changes.

Shinty Tournament

Congratulations to the P5 and under team today for winning their tournament! Great job guys. Proud of their performance and behaviour. A huge thank you to Nicki for giving up her time to coach the team. Well done.

Dress Down Day Tomorrow

Well done to everyone – an average of 98% of pupils wearing school uniform during spot checks over the last two weeks. Fantastic! A very well deserved dress down day tomorrow.
