Karate Tomorrow

A reminder that Karate starts back tomorrow after school.  Please read following letter from Dolina…

Dear Parent / Guardian

Are you looking for a new activity and sporting challenge for your child?

Karate Alba are now enrolling new students at Beauly After-School Karate Club.

Our After-School Karate Programme will offer children from P1 – P7 the opportunity to take up Karate within their school, and this programme will be a regular weekly fixture in Beauly Primary School.

Your child can train in an atmosphere that carefully balances fun, safety and effective martial arts training, with a student centric curriculum aimed at developing the maximum potential from each and every individual student. Whatever your desires are, we are confident that we have the skills, knowledge and capability to help your child reach their personal goals.

Our local talented Karate athletes get the opportunity to train on the Scottish Karate pathway for elite athletes and compete at National and International Competitions.

For those who want to be part of the Olympic adventure, the World Karate Federation has open pathways for every Karate athlete to find access to the chance of representing their nation at the Olympics Games.

Beauly Karate Club meets every Thursday in the School Hall from 3 – 4.30pm

Please contact Sensei Dolina Ross on 07907747748 to enrol your child in the club.

After school clubs

Multi sports will be starting at the beginning of September for P1-3 pupils only.

We are hopeful that basketball will start up again – I am currently in negotiations with Laura!

The Art Club will be running again on Wednesdays but will only be open to certain pupils for a few weeks at a time to allow more pupils to have the chance to attend.

A cross country club is also in the pipeline but details need to be confirmed.

Please keep your eyes peeled for further information!

Welcome back!

All the teachers are looking forward to seeing the pupils this morning. We are excited to welcome our new P1 children. P1 will stay for lunch today and should be picked up from the front playground of school at 12.45pm.

Helper required!

I hope you are all enjoying the summer break.  Unfortunately Nicki who was running Multi sports last term cannot continue to do this due to other commitments.  Mary Mackay has very kindly agreed to run the club for P1-3 pupils in the new session however for this to happen we require one volunteer to help Mary for the duration of the club after school on Wednesdays.  If you could help out or know someone who would be willing to do so please get in touch with the school office as soon as possible.  I will keep my fingers crossed that there is someone out there who can help!

Thanks in advance.

Thank you!

Safe to say I’ve been well and truly spoiled. Thank you to everyone for the very generous gifts and cards. I love my job here in Beauly. Thank you to my amazing staff for all their hard work throughout the year and to all you lovely parents for your support. Most of all thank you for sharing your wonderful children with me! I hope you all have a fabulous summer. Now where is the sun!

No photos!

Apologies but the photos from Tempest have not arrived. These will be issued when we return to school in August. Sorry.

A lovely visit this morning from Kayleigh and her little sister. I was lucky enough to get a cuddle too.
