A huge well done to James in nursery for being our Responsible Citizen of the week!
A huge thank you to Justin at Tarradale Trees for hand selecting us a beauty of a tree and delivering it to us this afternoon. We can’t wait until we get it in situ and decorated. Thank you!
If any parent has not yet requested a phone call appointment with their child’s class teacher and would still like one, please get in touch with Tracey in the school office either today or tomorrow.
Tracey will pass this information on to the class teacher who will then be in touch to arrange an appointment time. If your child is in Mrs Mackenzie or Mrs Fraser’s classes then please refer to your child’s google classroom for availability. Thank you.
I spoke with the children about the giving and receiving of Christmas cards in school at assembly on Friday. We spoke about the need to quarantine the cards for 72 hours before they can be sent home.
Please could any children wishing to give cards to their friends ensure the cards are brought to school before Thursday 17th December and placed in the box in their classroom. All cards will be given out by Monday 21st December to take home after they have been quarantined for the recommended amount of time.
Pupils should not give out cards in the playground at all. Thank you for your support with this.
A massive congratulations to Jack who was awarded a much sought after Head Teacher’s Certificate today! He has been an absolute superstar at challenging himself with his work tasks and going the extra mile. We are so very proud of your efforts! ❤️
A huge well done to our fabulous Responsible Citizens of the week! Brilliant effort! We are super proud of you all.
We are looking forward to welcoming Ryan back on Monday. Please could all pupils from Nursery (pre school year) to Primary 7 remember to wear a suitable outdoor PE kit. Also bring a change of clothes if the weather is not looking great. These Monday sessions will run on a weekly basis until the end of term.
Lots of excitement in the google classrooms this morning about returning to school tomorrow. I think the staff are every bit as excited about this as the pupils! I look forward to seeing everyone back at base in the morning.
Parents please remember to adhere to social distancing at all times and wear a face covering at drop off and pick up times. Please be prompt and don’t hang about for any longer than you absolutely have to.
Pupils remember to stick to your designated areas in the playground too. I think we will need to look at altering the areas as it is the time of year that the pitch is just a guttery mess. I hope to meet with the house captains very soon to discuss this. Keep working as a team to keep everyone safe.
A huge thank you to Tarradale Trees who are very kindly going to donate a Christmas Tree to us….and also a massive thank you to Catherine Rait for organising this for us! What a brilliant community we live in! 🌲❤️
The kitchen ladies need to place their Christmas lunch order on Thursday this week. If you would like your child to have a school Christmas lunch but have not yet returned the slip or contacted school then please get in touch with the school office either today or tomorrow.
