Citizenship Time

Busy pupils during Citizenship this afternoon. A lovely Fair Trade event too run by Ms Stoddart and the Fair Trade group. Well done everyone!

Aw….cute!

Not that I would ever encourage our pupils to pick wild flowers but this has well and truly made my day! Returned to my office to find this in front of my computer. Love my job!

Basketball

Sadly our last session of basketball takes place this Friday afternoon. Due to work commitments Adam is having to give up and can no longer run the club. We would like to thank him for giving up his time and training our pupils over the last year or so. We wish him all the best in the future. 🏀

Dance Platform Event

10 of our senior girls attended the dance platform event at Charleston yesterday afternoon where they showcased the dance they created with dance leaders Erika and Rhianna. They were fabulous and behaved beautifully. It was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with them. Superstars! I have been trying since yesterday afternoon to post a photo of the girls but for some reason it won’t work so apologies girls you will need to wait until Monday to see it! Mike Leslie I need your help!!!!

Garden Group

A huge well done to the garden group, led by Mrs Cullen and Mary Mackay, who secured ward funding today to make improvements to our garden area. A massive well done to the pupils who did the presentation at Glenurquhart High School this morning and a big thank you to everyone who went along to support them. Thanks also to those who voted for us! Great news.

Volunteer required

Swimming lessons start on Monday 23rd April for the P5/6 class. These run every Monday until the end of the summer term. We would love if a parent could volunteer to accompany the class to and from the swimming pool each week. It would require leaving school at 9.15am on the bus and returning by approximately 11am. You might even get lucky and be treated to a coffee while the pupils are in the pool! If you could offer to help out on any of the Mondays – whether it is one or more – please get in touch with the school office. Thank you!
