The whole school will be taking a walk through Cnoc and the park as part of Walk to School Week tomorrow to give those who can’t walk to school a chance to take part. We plan to leave the school playground at 11.45am. Parents are welcome to join us for the short walk.
Please see link below advertising the All Star Cricket programme. Free coaching sessions for 5-8 year olds are offered at Highland Cricket Club (Fraser Park) on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 starting on the 22nd May.
The next Parent Council meeting is on Monday 15th May at 7pm. The Parent Council always welcomes new members to our meeting and would also welcome any volunteers who wish to support our fundraising events.

The Parent Council.
Wow! What a fantastic evening of entertainment on Friday at Beauly’s Got Talent. The performers were AMAZING! Well done to the P7’s for taking control and making it run so smoothly – you all did your jobs brilliantly. Our hosts Charlie and Jack did a great job of introducing the acts and keeping us entertained throughout.
Thanks to all the parents who helped set up and clear away at the end of the night and to the organisers of the teas and raffles. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made this such a successful night.
Great team effort! Well done.
Mike our photographer for the night took some fabulous photos of all our performers and these can be viewed at https://www.mikeleslie.co.uk/photos/2017/bgt/ please place your orders through his website before next Friday, the 19th May. He will have them ready for delivery by early the following week. All profits from the sale of these photos will go towards school funds.
The excitement and nerves are mounting here at school on the build up to Beauly’s Got Talent. Don’t miss your one and only chance to view the stars of the future before they become famous.
The raffle prizes are not to be missed either. Amazing contributions from our fabulous parents which include……a bottle of malt whisky, a Samsung tablet, an MOT from Aird Motors, wine, jewellery….the list goes on.
The remaining few tickets (only 20 at the moment!) will be on sale at the door.
We have been notified by the council that school will be closed to pupils on Thursday 8th June as it will be used as a polling station in the General Election. This information will be included in the next newsletter also.
Evening! If anyone finds a random individual key lying around the village please could they hand it in to the school office. Thank you in advance.
Apologies from the P7 organisers and the staff who didn’t spot their ‘deliberate’ mistake……the tickets for BGT have Friday the 6th of May printed on them! Oops! Of course the date for Beauly’s Got Talent is definitely Friday the 5th of May. If you haven’t got your tickets yet there are still some available – feel free to drop in and buy some from the wonderful Tracey in the school office.
