Calling all parents

There is an Orienteering Training Session being run for any interested parent volunteers on Wednesday 14th February from 4.30pm to 6.00pm at Charleston Community Complex. This course is for those new to orienteering who would like to teach it in the playground. It includes a range of games and activities to teach the basics of map reading and navigation. I would love to get an orienteering group up and running at school. If anyone is interested please get in touch with me and I can register you for the course. I will keep my fingers crossed that a couple of parents will be interested and have nothing better planned on Valentine’s Day!

Cerys P4/5

Well done to Cerys who was presented with this trophy at her dance class for practising her solo dance so well and managing to get her high kicks right! Go girl!

French cafe

P3/4 having a busy afternoon with all their customers today. They have turned their classroom into a French cafe for the afternoon so they can practise the French they have been learning in class. Tres bien!

ASG Cross Country

We had a lovely morning at the cross country at Dochgarroch today. All pupils ran really well and we had some great placings. No medals or trophies this time but a super team spirit and good fun. Thanks to Mrs Nair and Mrs Mackenzie for training the team and a huge thank you to all the supporters who came along too.

Safer Routes to School

We are still getting reports from parents about near misses with pupils in Braeview Car Park.

Please could all parents remind their children not to walk across the car park in Braeview Park.

Please lets stay safe and follow the safer route signs along the pavements to and from school.
