Red Nose Day

Great fun was had by all on Friday raising money for Comic Relief.  The children worked well in their House Groups carrying out four different activities.  As always great to see the older pupils supporting the younger ones – great team work.

We raised a grand total of £356.76

Well done everyone.

Macroberts Cross Country

Well done to all our runners yesterday.  They all did themselves proud and had a great adventure…..especially when the bus broke down!  Lucy came 4th overall in her group and Gabriella was very brave being the only girl running from Beauly in her age group.  A day out none of us will forget in a hurry with an unexpected journey home on the train!!

Red Nose Day

A wee reminder that red noses will be on sale in classes from Monday for £1 each.  Next Friday (24th March) is Red Nose Day and the children will be involved in a variety of related activities.  Pupils will be working in their houses and there will be points awarded to the ‘best house’ in each activity.  Pupils are asked to bring in a donation towards the charity and wear something red on the day.

Dance Platform Event

Ten of our Senior Pupils attended the dance Platform Event at Charleston Academy this afternoon. Along with another three of the ASG schools they performed the routines they have been learning over the past few weeks with the Dance leaders form Charleston.  Our pupils performed beautifully and they really enjoyed working with Erika.  Well done to Jessica, Poppy, Selene, Freya, Sophie M, Michael, Struan, Lucy, Daisy and Sarah.

Cup of Kindness

Huge apologies go out to Thea….I ‘thought’ I had posted this way back in January when she was awarded the cup of kindness for donating 10 inches of her hair to ‘The Little Princess Trust’ so it could be made into a wig for a child who doesn’t have hair.  A lovely thing to do.  Sorry Thea for not posting this sooner – we can see how much your hair has grown since then though!

Well done to everyone involved in the Beauly Cross Country Championships today.  Thank you to all the spectators who came to support the runners.  Thank goodness we had lovely weather for it too.

The children were all stars and tried their best – we are all so proud of every single one of you.

Our picture shows the overall winners Lennox and Lucy with their trophies and our two fabulous Cross Country trainers Paula and Jane.
