We had a really interesting visit from our local firefighters today. We learnt so much about their jobs, how to put people into the recovery position and what it feels like to wear a firefighter’s suit – including their super heavy boots!
Mrs Fraser-Lee came and joined in the fun too!
Ask us about what we found out about.
Congratulations to Maisie who came 14th out of all of the P4-7 girl runners in our Beauly Cross Country run this morning! She took home the trophy and a gold medal for the P4 girls category. Sadly, all our other P4 girls were absent or unable to take part today. 😕. Rest those ankles tonight Maisie! Well done! 🏆🥇
The Eco group would like to thank all the pupils who participated in the waste free packed lunch week. All the pupils who took part will recieve a certificate.
We continued our work on ‘shape’ today – describing and naming 2D and 3D shapes and even making some 3D shape nets, which was very tricky!
We went for a quick walk with P7 this morning, to make sure we are all confident with using the Safer Routes to School path. Now we all know exactly where it is and what to do to get safely to, and from school.
Stay safe everyone!
We were invited to visit P5/6 this morning so that they could show us some of their learning on The Victorians. It was so interesting and we really enjoyed finding out some facts and getting to handle some things from the Victorian days. Thank you P5/6, great work!
More speech bubbles!
We had a long chat about staying safe when we’re online today then wrote some advice in our speech bubbles 🗣💻📱✅
On a cold and frosty morning last Friday we got together with P7 to work on our times tables. P7 drew out a game using chalk to help us with our 5 times table. It was great fun and helped us to get quicker with our answers.
We are having fun learning about measure this week. We estimated and measured lots of things in and out of the classroom today, in cm and metres.
