Our budding engineers in Primary 7 are having great fun building bridges today. In a series of four challenges which increase in difficulty the groups have access to limited resources for each challenge. Lots of learning and loads of fun!
The postponed Primary 7 class photos will take place tomorrow. Please ensure green Beauly jumpers are either worn to school or brought in bags. Thank you!
Thanks to Muir of Ord golf club. Primary 7 thoroughly enjoyed their golf taster session this afternoon.
Primaries 6 & 7 thoroughly enjoyed a visit from the Baldy Bane Theatre Company this afternoon. They were treated to a very interactive show all about road safety.
Primary 7 shared what they have learnt through their DYW topic in Assembly today. We were a bit short on numbers but those who were there really pulled together as a team. Well done!
What a literary looking lot!
Primary 7 are delighted that the Chrome Books have arrived and are making good use of them already!
Primary 7 put their classroom learning into practice today by using trundle wheels to measure the perimeter of the school field.
It was the turn of some Primary 7 pupils to enjoy ‘Foodie Friday’ today. Lots of learning, teamwork and fun resulted in delicious smoked haddock fish fingers and baked oven chips. The rest of P7 we’re delighted to be taste testers!
We were delighted to welcome Mr Fraser of Fraser Optical today. He told us all about his journey to becoming an optician and how he came to set up his business in Beauly. He then demonstrated some of the equipment used on ‘home visits’ and everyone was keen to see the back of their own eye! It was another super talk as part of our DYW topic.
