The JRSO citizenship group has produced a beautiful poster to give some tips on how to keep the pupils and their adults safe around the roads in the village and beyond. These posters are now distributed around some of the shops in the village and a copy has been sent home in school bags. Please ensure you follow the guidelines so that everyone is kept safe as they travel to and from school.
Primary 7 thoroughly enjoyed their first session working with BBC Micro:bit. Each pair managed to code their micro:bit to play ‘rock, paper, scissors’. Thank you to Dr Evelyn Gray from the UHI for guiding us through the first steps.
Primary 7 were delighted to welcome Kirsty Proctor to school today to hear all about her job as an Aseptic Dispensing Technician at Raigmore hospital. Not only did this fit well with Science and Technology week, it also continues our learning about jobs available in the local area. Thank you, Kirsty!
Our budding engineers in Primary 7 are having great fun building bridges today. In a series of four challenges which increase in difficulty the groups have access to limited resources for each challenge. Lots of learning and loads of fun!
The postponed Primary 7 class photos will take place tomorrow. Please ensure green Beauly jumpers are either worn to school or brought in bags. Thank you!
Thanks to Muir of Ord golf club. Primary 7 thoroughly enjoyed their golf taster session this afternoon.
Primaries 6 & 7 thoroughly enjoyed a visit from the Baldy Bane Theatre Company this afternoon. They were treated to a very interactive show all about road safety.
Primary 7 shared what they have learnt through their DYW topic in Assembly today. We were a bit short on numbers but those who were there really pulled together as a team. Well done!
